Ebenex teams up with The Substation for a special kind of Open Jam session

Whenever you go to a gig, you’re probably wondering where all the backline (amplifiers, drumsets, cables) come from – or maybe you’re not.

Enter Ebenex. A major provider of backline and stage set ups, the backstage wizards recently inked a deal with gig venue The Substation, and in celebration of the link up, the famed gig venue is hosting an Open Jam that everyone can go to so that they can immerse themselves in the bliss of improvised sessions.

All gear will obviously be provided by Ebenex, with the stage ready to go for eager and ready jammers to take it. There’s even going to be a light package provided, so there’ll probably be an oomph to your jam of John Mayer’s ‘Gravity’ if the lights go blue and the mood’s all chill.

The jam will happen next Monday, July 10th from 2pm to 8pm. That’s a lot of time for people to get in for a post-lunch afternoon jam, and for those finishing work to get in on the action in the closing hours of the jam. There’s no RSVP required – in the spirit of all old-fashioned jams, the bandstand’s expected to be open to those who want to get in on the action.
