Electronic music conference, IMS Asia-Pacific, returns to W Singapore

International Music Summit (IMS) Asia-Pacific returns to the W Singapore this Friday, December 11th! For one night only, the global electronic music industry will be convening in Sentosa Cove for a day of panels, keynotes and talks that are bound to shape the future of the industry in the region and throughout the world. In recent years, IMS Asia-Pacific has served as the perfect platform for the electronic music community to unite, discuss and collaborate.

First presented by Pete Tong in 2007, IMS was initially created to inspire debate and implement progressive change in electronic music. And since that first installment, the conference become widely regarded as the premier platform for thought and leadership in that scene. Described as “the TED of music conferences,” IMS has grown its reach across continents and is now an award-winning industry event that's been honoured by The DJ Awards, and boasts multiple panels that have been voted among the "Top Electronic Music Debates of All Time" by Beatport.

2015's Asia-Pacific edition features renowned international speakers like Kaskade, Armin Van Buuren and Sharam alongside respected industry veterans around the region such as Kavan Spruyt (Midnight Shift), Godwin Pereira (owner of kyo), Richie McNeill (Director of Special Operations of Beatport Asia) and Rahul Kukreja (co-founder of Livescape), amongst many other experts voices ranging from agents to CEOs to label A&Rs to artists to journalists to promoters.
