FILSCAP extends financial aid to its members

FILSCAP are doing their part for the Filipino music community in these trying times.

On Wednesday (03/18), the Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers announced that they will be providing financial assistance to all its members due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines. Members who have been with FILSCAP for at least five years will be offered PHP 5,000 and PHP 3,000 to those who've been members for less than five years.

"We urge everyone to take extreme precautions to combat the virus," FILSCAP write in a statement. "We wish for all of you and your loved ones to come out safe and healthy from this pandemic. Together we can do this."

FILSCAP President Rico Blanco writes in an Instagram post, "waiving my assistance allocation so that it will be reallocated as additional reserve funds for the medical assistance program."
