Flea markets are a draw for anyone who loves hunting for cheap bargains. Even if bargaining isn't your thing, it’s a perfect opportunity for the family to head out and enjoy a good weekend afternoon. And this coming July, there’s going to be a big one at Zouk, the most well-known and historic club in Singapore.
The flea market was indeed a regular occurrence back at Jiak Kim, but this will be the first time the flea will be brought to the club in its new venue at Clarke Quay. Additionally, this is also the first time that the nightclub giant has collaborated with alternative/indie pop-up flea market Sunset Pasar.
As usual, the event will host their signature Flea & Easy flea market, featuring booths that will offer an eclectic array of old school and new school fashion – where you can get updated on and be a part of the latest trends or find vintage gems that remind you of yesteryear.
Making an appearance is also the ZouKiDisco, the cutest feature of the event. Children below the age of 10 can now put a literal slant on the term "club kids" by attending this one-time only disco where there’s no minimum age, but a maximum age.
A new addition to the flea market that bazaar regulars are used to will be a tightly curated group of bands and DJs along with a localized line-up of open mic performances that will provide not only background music to your shopping exploits, but also give all Flea & Easy attendees a chance to take in emerging local talent.
The Zouk Flea & Easy Bazaar will take place on the 9th of July, Sunday, from 12pm to 7pm. Admission is free. The Zoukidisco is however ticketed at S$18 per pax - it includes one free non-alcoholic drink. Tickets can be purchased here.
