Gig venue and jamming studio Lithe Paralogue returns as LITHE HOUSE

Huzzah! While the relocation of independent gig venue and jamming studio Lithe Paralogue was teased for a while, but now it seems like it will be back in full-force.

Imbued with a new lease of life as LITHE HOUSE, it will now be located at 23 Madras Street and will also serve as headquarters for Lithe Records, which has been releasing titles by Singaporean bands Forests and sub:shaman, the latter involved in a split with Japanese experimental band Qu.

The venue will be officially launched with performances by Forests, the recently-reunited Amateur Takes Control, screamo band Yumi (whose guitarist Anvea also serves as co-founder of the venue) and post-rock outfit Paint The Sky Red.

The show will take place on October 22nd at LITHE HOUSE, which is located near Rochor MRT. Tickets will be available at the door for only $10. Lithe Paralogue hosted a wild range of acts and provided a fresh, creative space for bands. Here's to LITHE HOUSE continuing that legacy and then some.
