In an event that's advertised as a "Sunday Bloody Sunday", it'll host the one and only Magrudergrind in their upcoming Asian tour.
The famed grindcore trio have been a notable name in the underground world of extreme music, and their uncompromising vision, fusing in raw powerviolence elements and brutal lyricism, has been a refreshing return with II, their first album of seven years. Before II, the unit was fairly dormant, although they did make a brief appearance on acclaimed HBO series Veep. Their last show in Singapore was in 2008.
Magrudergrind will be performing at Aliwal Arts Centre on July 31st, alongsde Singaporean bands Abolition A.D., Truth Be Known, B.C, Demisor and MINUS.
Tickets are already available on Peatix, with price changes over the next few months leading up to the event — it's $28 if you buy this month, $32 in June, $36 in July and $40 at the door.
