American jazz singer Stacey Kent will coming to Singapore later this year. The Grammy-nominated vocalist will perform at the Esplanade Concert Hall as part of the Esplanade's Mosaic Music Series.
Kent's latest release in her 20-year-long career was last year's I Know I Dream: The Orchestral Sessions, which was rated a coveted five stars in DownBeat magazine and awarded Album of the Year in the vocal category at last year's Jazz Japan Awards.
Another notable release of Kent's is Breakfast on the Morning Tram, which features songs with lyrics written by novelist Kazuo Ishiguro and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2009.
Stacey Kent will perform in Singapore on Thursday, 20 September at the Esplanade Concert Hall. Tickets are priced at $48, $68, $88, and $118. Concessions are available for students, seniors and NSFs. Tickets are on sale now here.
