South African house duo Black Motion set for live showcase at Kilo Lounge

From legends like Francois K and Osunlade to acclaimed selectors Kim Ann Foxman and Lefto (just to name a few) - Kilo Lounge's tasteful and inspired programming has quickly re-established them as one of Singapore's finest clubs after their move to Tanjong Pagar last year.

Truth be told, they have something special up their sleeves for every weekend (and on most Thursdays too), but their recent booking of prolific Soshanguve house duo Black Motion is too special to be ignored.

From hits such as 'Banane Mavoko' to critically-lauded albums like Ya Badimo and Aquarian Drums, the pair have become favourites in the South African dance music scene thanks to their infectious Afro-house releases in recent years.

Excitingly, both Robert (DJ Murda) Mahosana and Thabo “Smol” Mabogwane will be their bringing their Black Motion live show to Kilo Lounge on Friday, 23 June.

BANDWAGON TV

The performance is set to feature DJ Murda on the decks, while Smol provides exuberant live percussion all night long, using his set-up of snares, cymbals and native drums.

Starting from 10pm till late, tickets are priced at S$20 before midnight and S$30 after midnight. RSVP at their event page if you’re heading down!
