There's finally an open-world Kirby game coming to Nintendo Switch.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a 3D platformer starring our favorite pink puff ball that takes the Kirby series to a whole new post-apocalyptic realm, Nintendo announced on its latest Nintendo Direct showcase this morning (09/24). The game is set for a planned release this spring 2022.

The announcement follows the release of 2018's Kirby Star Allies, one of the Switch's best-selling side-scrolling games.
