After an LP (Telisik) of pleasant jazz-pop cuts, Indonesian singer-songwriter Danilla has released her new single, 'Kalapuna.'
The song, per the press release, is a "bridge to her second LP" that will be released sometime in 2017.
Like most of her songs before, Danilla plays to her strengths by letting a specific mood take over a song.
But this one's a little unusual because it's...let me put it this way: if her second LP contains songs that are similar to this, then there would be no point of reprieve anywhere on it. It's an atmospheric jazz song which utilizes synthesizers and the keyboard wisely; lending the song its haunting character.
