Martha Argerich postpones Singapore concerts due to health concerns

It has been announced that Argentinian classical pianist Martha Argerich has postponed her upcoming Singapore concerts, which were originally scheduled on 6, 7 and 9 June, due to health-related reasons. The concerts are postponed to future dates that have yet to be confirmed.

Current ticketholders will be fully refunded, and will be contacted by SISTIC through e-mail and SMS by Friday, 31 May

For the concert on Friday, 7 June, Martha will be replaced by BBC New Generation Artist, pianist Eric Lu. He will be playing Chopin’s First Piano Concerto with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Violinist Yu-Chien Tseng will also play Brahms’ Violin Concerto. The concerts on 6 and 9 June will no longer take place.

More details will be released shortly via the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s official website. Existing ticketholders for Martha Argerich’s 7 June concert who wish to attend Eric Lu's show will have to purchase tickets anew.
