If there's ever a time to watch a burgeoning rapper in their element, it's in a rap battle.

And with sure-fire fury and creativity unleashed, it's both a joy and an astonishing moment to watch rhythmically-intricate insults unfold. For MAS1A — also known as Masia One — she got to flex her battle skills at the recent Chang Urban Pulse, as she was pit against Singaporean emcee Tech'1.

But, oh boy, did he get roasted — not just in English, but in Chinese and French as a rancid cherry on top, and briefly breaking into song by covering Sister Nancy's classic 'Bam Bam'. MAS1A, unsurprisingly, was declared the winner.
