Midnight Shift teams with No Party Here to bring techno vanguards Hodge & Rivet

The last time Midnight Shift threw a basement party at kyo, it was a deliciously deep and dark affair featuring Xhin and Tzusing. This time around though, they'll be joining forces with the crew from No Party Here for an offbeat, melting-pot exploration of the future of techno.

Headlined by forward-thinking 4/4 vanguards Hodge and Rivet, both are unafraid to meld their unabashed techno influences with foreign strains like breakbeat, dub, industrial, jungle, grime and house - to create cavalier, cutting edge club music. In between Hodge's blistering Bristolian approach and Rivet's famously technical 4-deck DJ sets, this one should be a compelling dance floor experience for even the most jaded of techno-heads.

In support, No Party Here resident Jerls (watch our glowing review of his Boston Cream EP here) and Midnight Shift founders Lily's Rose (Kavan Spruyt and Debbie Chia) will also be helming the decks. The night's trippy (and probably pun-filled) visual aid will be provided by none other than HeyLou.

RSVP here to receive complimentary entry before midnight. Midnight Shift x No Party Here feat. Hodge & Rivet happens this Saturday, 2 April at kyo.
