The Music Society, Singapore (SGMUSO), in conjunction with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), announced on Friday (25/08) that they are hosting an open call for bands keen on touring outside of Singapore. 

The competition-styled open call has begun its registration stage, from now till September 10th, 11:59pm. The outcome will result in two bands, carefully selected and sent to play several shows in Australia. Singapore: Inside Out (SG:IO) is happening on November 3rd to 5th along Kensington Street, in the trendy Chippendale district.

Applicants are recommended to attend the SGMUSO showcase information session. Applicants interested in attending are required to RSVP via email to info@sgmuso.org. The info session takes place next Wednesday, August 30th, 5pm at the Multi Purpose Studio @ Aliwal Arts Centre. 

Here's all the criteria for applicants: 

1. Applications are only open to Singaporeans & PRs.
2. All applicants MUST be SGMUSO members.
3. All applicants should have released an EP or ALBUM, or minimally 3 singles (released physically or digitally).
4. All applicants must be able to perform at least 3 sets (of minimum 30mins each) at SG:IO Sydney during the stipulated travel duration
5. All applicants must commit to organizing at least one more show of their own in another venue during the trip.
6. All applicants must be able to travel to Sydney from  2–6 November 2017.
