Keep track of festivals affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with Sick Festivals

It's going to be easier to keep track of festivals that have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Slovenia-based music data company Viberate has launched Sick Festivals, a comprehensive list of shows all around the world. It's updated daily and monitors 5,000 festivals to keep music fans posted on the status of these shows. At press time, 141 festivals have been canceled, while 185 have been postponed.

Viberate co-founder DJ Umek got the idea to develop Sick Festivals after seeing an avalanche of show cancelations following the spread of COVID-19 across the globe. He says in a statement, "At Viberate, we quickly put together a service that we hope will help people see what’s going on with the festival they had been planning to visit, and shed a light onto the industry professionals’ income loss, which is no laughing matter.”
