Singaporean pedalmakers Mistweaver Effects make debut with The Serpent and Forestry

Attention all guitar gearheads! There's a new boutique pedal maker in town.

Mistweaver Effects is a Singaporean pedal company that have made their debut with the release of two new pedals, The Serpent and Forestry. The Serpent was launched on Monday, 9 July and was used by Skinny of Marijannah on their recent Southeast Asian tour with Potion. Forestry was launched just today on 19 July.

Forestry (pictured, left) is an overdrive pedal that Mistweaver Effects considers suitable for those looking for heavier overdriven tones – but the pedal apparently also excels at light to medium gain tones. Forestry features volume, gain, tone and presence knobs. The presence knob allows the user to control the harmonic overtones that are being overdriven, which allows for dialing in the perfect amount of highs, ensuring compatibility with any amp. Forestry pedals are available for USD $155 (SGD$212) here

The Serpent (pictured, right), is described as a pedal perfect for guitarists and bassists looking for a fuzz pedal that is huge, 'fat' and aggressive, yet smooth at the same time. The Serpent features standard volume, gain, and tone knobs, with an additional contour toggle switch. This switch allows its user to toggle between flat, scooped, and boosted mids. The Serpent is available for USD $140 (S$191) here
