Soupstar Music is holding an online gig for a cause this month.

This coming July 18 (Sunday) at 6 p.m., Soupstar will be hosting It Takes A Village, a fundraiser show for the benefit of Marlo Academia, brother of Myrene Academia of Sandwich and Imago, to help him with his medical bills.

The upcoming gig will feature live performances by 6cyclemind, Band ni Kleggy, The Vowels They Orbit, Gracenote, Pedicab, Imago, Moonstar88, Sandwich, and Ultracombo. It Takes A Village will be taking place via Zoom.

According to Myrene, Marlo was sent to the hospital last week after suffering a stroke. He is currently stable and may come home soon.

Admission to the show is PHP 500 and may be paid via bank transfer (BPI and BDO) or GCash. Attendees must submit their proof of payment to info@soupstar.ph and register here. The Zoom link will be sent before the event.
