Step Up To The Streets: Music Matters Live 2014

ESTIMATED

Back for its 4th instalment, Music Matters is presenting to you a throng of bands and artists that will be gracing the city-state. On top of the various conferences by prominent people in the creative and music industry, Music Matters Live is also really about a platform to discover and enjoy music of all genres. If you don't already know, how they do it is pretty interesting: artists will be coming from more than 10 countries, and for four nights turn Clarke Quay into their playground for musical mayhem. Yup, that means raiding the usual pubs and bars to rock out some tunes. Best of all - Music Matters Live is free!

What they got covered this year is some math-y rock from Japan (The Oral Cigarettes), smooth electronic music from India (Dualist Inquiry), indie-pop from South Korea (Daybreak), crooner balladeers of Indonesia (Afgansyah Reza), good ol' indie from England (The Boxer Rebellion), and not to forget our own contingent from Singapore who will be represented by nostalgia pop of The Pinholes, Hokkien-rock by way of Ying Hao, acoustic stylings of Seyra and Gentle Bones, and the bold sounds of sub:shaman. And because we know you'll never get down to trying out everything on the menu, we've put together a nifty package for you to make things a little easier:
