The Analog Girl is making a comeback

It's been a while since we've heard new material from one of Singapore's premiere pioneers of bedroom electronic pop The Analog Girl - almost five years to be exact. And in the ensuing time, her particular laptop-led field has quickly leapt to the forefront of the music scene in Singapore (and around the world) thanks to the advent of Ableton and the deluge of talented producers it has spawned.

But you have to remember that long before this current crop of wonderful electronic musicians, The Analog Girl certainly deserves credit as one of the inspiring trailblazers that paved the way. From features in TIME Magazine and NYLON TV to buzzworthy performances in CMJ Music Festival in New York and Culture Collide Music Festival in Los Angeles, she's been there and done that.

Now nearly five years after the release of her critically beloved Tonight Your Love album (not statistically proven, but that album cover likely makes up one out of every five tote bags in Singapore), The Analog Girl is set to make her grand return to a very familiar Esplanade Concourse stage to debut tracks from her long-gestating and highly-anticipated new album!

The welcome comeback is a part of an exciting slate of Mosaic Music Weekend shows this coming September which also features Patrick Wolf, Lisa Hannigan and Cheating Sons amongst many others.

The Analog Girl returns for 2 sets (8:15pm, 9:10pm) on Saturday, 3rd September at Cafe 21 Living Room Stage (Esplanade Concourse), Esplanade. Admission is free. Click here for more details.
