Esplanade Outdoor Theatre will be turned into a dancefloor for one night only

A Date With Friends, a series celebrating Singapore's rock and pop music heritage, will make its glorious return this year.

More than ever, Esplanade has prepared a list of eclectic performances that range from a Getai Fun Night to a disco-themed event at the Outdoor Theatre itself.

For the latter, the stage will be specially extended into a dance floor for the audience.

With a band that boasts Joe Chandran, former vocalist of 60s rock band The X-periment, along with ensemble Dimension5, the event is aptly titled Blame It On The Boogie, and will feature a repertoire of songs by ABBA, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder and more. Basically, all the club hits from back in the day.
