The Law Society of Singapore is setting up their own concert

The concert schedule for 2016 is indeed ramping up, and an unlikely one has been added to the list of shows at the Esplanade.

Just Sing is an initiative by The Pro Bono Services Office of The Law Society of Singapore, to raise funds to continue their work serving the public with the services offered by the office. As their website puts it, "the generous contribution of time and expertise from our lawyers need to be complemented by financial resources to support them in their good work."

So in order to help raise funds to keep "Justice in the Groove", they're organizing a one-night-only concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall on May 6th

The fascinating part of the programme are the musicians featured, some who have been, or currently are, involved in law — Cheating Sons members Renyi Wang and Don Loh are currently providing legal counsel to various institutions, pianist Chok Kerong is a law graduate, and accomplished jazz singer Rani Singam served as a lawyer before pursuing music full-time.
