The Steve Mcqueens head to Australia for a pair of high-profile jazz festivals

Renowned Singaporean soul-jazz band The Steve Mcqueens will be heading Down Under to perform two high-profile showcases this coming June.

Held over the same weekend, the neo-vintage soul-funk band will be performing at Melbourne International Jazz Festival on Friday, 2nd June, before going to Western Australia, Perth on Sunday, 4th June for an evening show at Jazz by the Bay.

The groove-based outfit will be playing alongside some veritable heavyweights at both affiliated festivals, but as a special treat, The Steve Mcqueens' gig in Melbourne will also be double-billed by acclaimed pianist and composer Brenton Foster and his Brenton Foster 6tet.

Melbourne International Jazz Festival tickets are going for $33 (excluding booking fees) and can be purchased here. Meanwhile Jazz by the Bay tickets are $25 and can be purchased this page.
