The showcase featuring the Singaporean finalists for this year's Vans Musicians Wanted is set to take place this Thursday, September 28th.
The top five bands have been selected and will duke it out for the top spot in this year's competition, with the winning band securing a spot to perform in Guangzhou, China for a special regional edition of House of Vans, along with cash prizes.
Each band's showcase is scheduled to be 20 minutes long or, alternatively, perform three songs. The bands will be judged based on several live performance aspects, including on-stage presence and sonic performance.
The final five bands are Every Rage I Seek, Hollow Threat, Hybreed Society, Mi Ultimo and Poetic Tragedies. Judges for the local showcase are famed local rapper TheLionCityBoy, Danny Loong, the co-founder and chief creative director of Timbre Group, and Bandwagon's very own Clarence Chan.
The showcase will take place on 28 September at Timbre @ The Substation from 7:30PM to 10PM. Soundchecks will run from 4:30PM to 7PM.
