Walk The Moon's show in Singapore cancelled

Talk about a rough day for concert announcements.

Sheer minutes after it was announced that dance pop group Why Don't We's show in Singapore was being postponed, the Singapore concert scene was rocked with yet another crushing announcement – Walk The Moon's highly anticipated show in Singapore has been canceled. Local pop musician Sezairi was slated to open for the band.

The show's cancellation is being chalked up to "unforeseen circumstances", as per a press release from concert promoters P2M Live. Walk The Moon took to Facebook on Friday morning to comment on the cancellation. The band's performance in Manila, Philippines will go on as scheduled. Check out the official statement below.

Dearest Singapore, it’s with great regret that we must announce that, due to circumstances outside our control, the show next week has been cancelled. We were very much looking forward to returning to your beautiful city, and are heartbroken over the cancellation. We deeply apologize, and we hope to be back as soon as we can.
