Every week, our editors take a moment to step out from of their desk and on to the camera to talk about some of the most exciting record releases out right now in our brand new video series! Welcome to Bandwagon Recent Record Reviews!
We're continuing Recent Record Reviews with our favourite radio station Lush 99.5FM, this time we've invited their presenter/Swiss Army Knife man Elias Soh to take over the reigns of the guest spot!
For this week's episode, we stepped out of our office to hang out at the wonderful Third & Sixth, and we got down to dissect the new EP by Nicholas Chim, the lush and exalting The Greatest Enemy. We also dug deep into organic techno from Congo by veteran music group Konono No. 1, and the latest exciting audio/visual treat by the Queen herself, Beyonce. We did go over the rails on this one — 20 minutes, a new record — but we swear, we did talk about an important issue: the emergence of visual albums.
And if you disagree or agree with any of our opinions (art is subjective after all), we'd love to hear from you in the comments section too. In the meantime, sit back and enjoy!
