The past few months have kept Reese Lansangan quite busy (although to be fair, she's always doing something). Early in November, Reese was officially announced as part of the line-up of the fifth edition of Wanderland Music and Arts Festival. Her music video for 'Grammar Nazi' premiered two weeks ago and now has over 45,000 views. Just last night, the singer-songwriter released her original Christmas song, 'No Snow' on Spotify. Tonight, Reese released a performance video via her Youtube channel. The track is off Stages Sessions' Christmas compilation, 'Pintig ng Pasko'.
No Snow is the first Christmas song that I wrote, and it is my gift to all of you! ⛄️
I wanted to write a song that talked a bit about how we celebrate Christmas here in the Philippines, without being overly telling and upfront. 🇵🇭
I feel like Western Christmas songs always talk about turkeys and sleigh bells and snow, and we don’t really have that in this tropical country! 🎄
Despite that, Christmas in the Philippines is a magical experience ladened with tradition and togetherness - and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙂
Here’s to hoping you make No Snow the soundtrack to your festivities, wherever in the world you may be."
