A nimble blend of future-soul, jazz and hip-hop, Singaporean trio TAJ are undoubtedly of the most creative and resonant outfits our contemporary jazz scene at the moment.

Their warmly-received album on Darker Than Wax entitled The Astral Journey was one of 2015's most compelling listens and we're happy to see more gems from that record being revisited.

Standout track '7dB' has recently been given the music video treatment videographers Sadiq Mansor and Heider Ismail, and it presents us with a beautiful and bicameral look into one's inner struggle, back-dropped by picturesque hills and forests of Bandung, Indonesia.

Starring the magnetic Tess Pang, TAJ's new video follows a graceful dancer's visceral duel with her darker, feral demon. Think of it like Black Swan set in the wilderness.
