Wormrot gets the '70s karaoke video treatment – watch

Esquire Singapore recently unveiled an unexpected new video through their YouTube channel, and it's not your standard video editorial.

When you think of Esquire, you think of cutting-edge fashion and elegance, and you get that in this clip — set to wonderful grindcore stylings of Wormrot, with their Voices track 'Fallen Into Disuse'. Filmed in the style of classic karaoke bootlegs from the '70s, a couple is featured, decked out in premium (read: era-appropriate) fur coats, gold-rimmed sunglasses and more as they roam around the grounds of D'Resort @ Downtown East.

In true karaoke bootleg fashion, the song runs in high contrast with the video, and that's why it's amazing. The video was shot and edited by Lenne Chai, who explored a similar concept in 2015.
