Earlier this month, Vans and Bandwagon kicked off its hardcore-centric Spirit of DIY series to pay homage to the legacy of hardcore music, and the DIY ethos that informs it. Past editions saw the likes of Radigals, Overthrown, Bind, Recover, False Plaintiff, and Hollow Threat perform.

The third and final Spirit of DIY show will feature grindcore heroes Wormrot, hardcore supergroup LC93, emergent punks Doldrey and Fuse.

We sat down with Wormrot's Rasyid, LC93's Suhaimi and Doldrey's Aidil – among others – to talk about their favourite hardcore songs. Check out the conversation here. 

We also had a roundtable discussion with Doldrey's Farhan, False Plaintiff's Nicholas, Recover's Azfar and more to talk about the hardcore culture in Singapore.
