Biography

John Mark Arcilla is a multi-instrumentalist/one-man indie pop band originating from Bulacan. His “Bedroom Sounds” EPs have been featured on the now-defunct Philippine rock station nU107 in 2010. He also contributed two songs, “Nasaan” and “Takbo” to the soundtrack of the CinemaOne Originals 2010 film “Tsardyer”. His songs are an eclectic blend of influences ranging from the pop/folk sounds of Jens Lekman, Belle & Sebastian, and She & HIm to the swirling guitars of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive, to the jazz vocals of Frank Sinatra.
