The National Chinese Music Competition is back for its 10th edition in 2016! The Prize Winners’ Concert honours outstanding young musical talents after 11 days of rigorous competition rounds. Enjoy a spectacular showcase of the nation’s finest talents in Chinese instrumental music and watch selected winners perform with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra.

NATIONAL CHINESE MUSIC COMPETITION
As a platform that celebrates excellence in Chinese Music, this biennial competition aims to develop the performing skills of young musicians and identify promising new talents for traditional Chinese music. It also provides opportunities for the young musicians to perform on a competitive platform, before an international jury.
Admission to the Preliminary and Final rounds of the Competition from 29 November to 9 December at the Singapore Conference Hall is free.
