Aditya Prakash Ensemble’s The Colliding Worlds Project is a musical journey which engages the audience in an exciting musical dialogue between Indian classical, folk, jazz and hip hop. Intricate South Indian rhythms are juxtaposed with hip hop beats while ragas are brought to life in a contemporary context through jazz harmony. The ensemble features cutting-edge arrangements of classical compositions, bhajans and Bollywood songs, along with original compositions, interwoven with exhilarating improvisational exchanges.

The Aditya Prakash Ensemble, a Los Angeles-based music group made up of some of the most exciting and dynamic jazz, hip hop and Indian classical musicians in the city, eager to share their love of these traditions, was founded by award-winning Indian classical vocalist, Aditya Prakash, in 2010.
