Anando Utsav

The first non-European to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913, Rabindranath Tagore was a poet, novelist, music composer, playwright, painter, philosopher and educationist who reshaped Bengali literature and music. His music combined Indian classical music and poetry to form a new genre of Indian music known as rabindra sangeet, which were celebratory in nature and performed for specific occasions and festivals. In Anando Utsav, enjoy the festive rhythms and poetry of this form.
