Anoraak Live in Singapore

Anoraak aka Frédéric Rivière, returns to Singapore with a fresh wave of tracks out of his new EP Black Gold Sun. Touted to be Anoraak’s “sunniest” material in years, the Valerie Collective member produces some upbeat tracks to bring back the feeling of a fun, endless summer. This one night only LIVE set performance is presented by both Figure8 Agency and Canvas Club.

A Producer and DJ from Nantes, Frédéric is a founding member of the Valerie Collective, a group of electronic musicians famed for their uber stylish synth-pop soundtrack to 2011 big-screen crime drama Drive, staring Ryan Gosling. Before starting his solo project under the name “Anoraak” in 2009, Frédéric was Pony Pony Run Run’s drummer, a very popular French electro-pop band.

Anoraak now explores new tracks with a brand new live solo act. He surfs smartly between vocals, instruments and modern electronic synths to offer an energising performance built for the dancefloor. It is a return to the basics for the French artist. This new schizophrenic treatment unveils a completely different and irresistibly powerful facet of his work for audiences.
