Theemptybluesky’s full length debut Aphelion takes the listener into a deep enchanting journey that crosses dimensions. An album meant for deep listening, with its dense and intricate textures and an unconscious everlasting flow, Aphelion surprises with each re-listening.
Mervin Wong is joined by visual collaborator Ryan Benjamin Lee in this exclusive launch of Aphelion. Ryan’s method mirrors Mervin’s production, generating a plethora of visuals, sometimes ethereal, sometimes grungy, sometimes wacky that accompany on this journey.

Mervin Wong is a sonic alchemist who creates music and sculpts sound, Mervin’s works include producing & composing bespoke music for film, media, installations, as well as collaborations with performing and visual artists. 2018 marks the debut of his solo project Theemptybluesky with the full length album: Aphelion

Ryan Benjamin Lee (b. 1997) is a moving image artist based in Singapore. His practice utilises video art, animation, and installation to create a range of mixed media assemblages and disruptions inspired by chance encounters with the everyday.
