Glasgow-born/Ibiza-influenced Marcoloco has been involved in the dance industry for over 15 years.
He has spent the last 13 summers djing in Ibiza where he has held some of the most prestigious residencies on the island such as Space (residing for Carl Cox, Toolroom Knights, Ibiza Calling & Cafe Ole), Manumission, Cafe Del Mar, Salinas Beach, Eden, Es Paradis, Es Vive Hotel, Hush & Savannah.
He was also responsible for the infamous Shipwrecked morning boat parties. The boat parties were sold out every week to a religious following of Ibiza workers from 2006 until they were eventually made ‘illegal’ in 2014.
Over the years Marco gained a reputation as one of Ibiza’s most respected residents which was highlighted when he won ‘Best Ibiza Resident Dj 2013’ voted by Ibiza residents.
Marco has also spent the last 5 winters djing in Thailand, residing at some of the best underground parties there like Jungle Experience (Koh Phangan), Cha Cha Moon (Koh Samui) & The Castle (Koh Tao). During the winter months he also tours regularly around U.K, U.S, Australia, Dubai and all over Asia…
Aside from djing, Marco is gaining a reputation as ‘one to watch’ with his impressive productions. In 2013 he released his debut album "Nights of ibiza" at the world famous Cafe Del Mar. Since then he has released several releases on labels such as Seamless, Moon Island Records and Foreign Language.
Marco is one of the most versatile DJs in the industry today. A true specialist in several different genres ranging from chillout/downtempo to funk/disco through to his own style of house and techno. Known for his unique technical ability and infectious energy, he enjoys playing with 4 decks, turning dancefloors into complete anarchy when the time is right. His appetite for the music he loves is admirable and for anyone that has witnessed one of his sets, it is clear he loves his job very much.
