 years since their crazy\, sweaty debut in Singapore\, we&#39\;re finally br
 inging the American indie-rockers back to our shores. The band have come a 
 long way since we last saw them in 2012\, with 3 full-length releases on th
 eir belt\, they&#39\;ve only gotten bigger.</p>\n\n<p>The long-awaited retu
 rn of Brooklyn&rsquo\;s Beach Fossils\, Somersault showcases a band in bloo
 m. Charting into new musical territory with a refined songwriting style\, i
 t&rsquo\;s an album that captures flashes of life in New York grounded in p
 ersonal experience.</p>\n\n<p>The band&rsquo\;s self-titled 2010 debut esta
 blished a sound that was both minimal and enveloping. With Somersault\, the
  group&rsquo\;s first release since 2013&rsquo\;s Clash the Truth\, Beach F
 ossils have channeled years of experimentation into expansion and reinventi
 on. Augmented with more complex instrumentation\, including string arrangem
 ents\, piano\, harpsichord\, flute\, and sax\, the new songs offer multi-la
 yered pop guided by sharp\, poignant\, and honest lyrics.</p>\n\n<p>Flowing
  between shimmering compositions and immersive soundscapes\, Somersault evo
