BLITZ AND SQUASH BRASS BAND is an Osaka, Japan based New Orleans Brass Band that blends Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk and Latin styles with traditional New Orleans brass sounds. The band is most famous locally for “second line” brass band parades, a cultural heritage of New Orleans. The band was founded in 1997 and since then they have been performing at local clubs in the streets on a regular basis. They also often appear on local TV shows, events & festivals.
