February 6th 2020 marks the 75th birthday anniversary of The Honorable Robert Nesta Marley.
We pay homage to the King of Reggae music on 7th Feb with a celebration of Reggae music with our special guest artist UK Dub producer Vibronics, live performance by Randolf Arriola, DJ sets by Olbi Iyah(UK), Blood Dunza(HK), Rumshot, Submerge, Ken, Selecta Baba and MCs SWTLKR & Jerry Jugde Hinds(UK)

Robert Nesta Marley
Born February 6th, 1945, Jamaican singer-songwriter Bob Marley would go on to vanguard the Rastafarian counterculture movement and the mainstreaming of Reggae music on an international scale but neither Rome nor reggae were built in a day. Gaining rise and global recognition with the 1963 formation of The Wailers punctuated by chart-toppers like "Simmer Down" and "Get Up, Stand Up" followed by a tour engagement with Sly and the Family Stone that was cut short on account of the fact that the band was becoming bigger than the acts they were opening for, Marley's transition into a solo career would prove a natural one in the years post-dating the group's 1974 disbanding. Finding his beat with the international breakthrough of "No Woman, No Cry", Marley became not only an impressive performer but moreover a prolific political figure. Though cut short by illness at the age of 36, the career of Bob Marley would come to encompass thirteen studio albums and a true immeasurable impact on culture which continues to gain post-humous traction. A pivotal musical figure in the 20th century and beyond.

In the studio they have worked with Zion Train, Iration Steppas, Macka B, Ranking Joe, Brain Damage, High Tone, Big Youth and an almost endless list of dub & reggae luminaries. Wether dub-mixing live on stage, rocking the clubs or uplifting the festivals, Vibronics continue to perform tirelessly across Europe as well as in Asia, Central America and the Caribbean.

RANDOLF ARRIOLA
Internationally acclaimed Singapore musician Randolf Arriola is a live looping master with over 30 years of professional experience in performance, recording, production and broadcast. His unique music-making concept of live looping relies on his creation and processing of audio loops of his voice and guitar.
Arriola’s music is the sonic amalgamation of moods, textures and harmonies that embrace and expand beyond cultures and geographical space. Sounds and songs are dreamed up, formed and performed from strings of thoughts, intentions and imagination, woven into a sonic fabric unique to that very moment. OLBI IYAH(UK)
Hailing from the UK reggae scene, Olbi Iyah has been selecting reggae and world music for over 17years. Coming from the Midland reggae institution ’Jam Jah’ sound out of Birmingham. He is notorious for his 80s digital dancehall sets and his infamous event ’This is Jamaica 86’. Olbi has performed at festivals all over Europe and South east Asia. Having shared the stage with reggae and dancehall heavy weights such as David Rodigan, Gyptian, channel 1, mungoes hi fi and a pleather of outernational vocalist. Expect to hear rare cuts from the late 60s to tomorrow. Forward!
BLOOD DUNZA
Blood Dunza aka Lai Fai is the founder of Heavy Hongkong crew . Promoting Drum n' Bass and Reggae in Hong Kong for the last decade. The mission has spread all over mainland China in recent year. Blood Dunza played at Outlook Festival in Croatia 2012 , Toured Germany , Belgium, Japan , Thailand , Vietnam , Singapore , Philippines , Cambodia and all over China
Featured on Red Bull UK and Dubspot and listed as "One of Hong Kong Top Night" on CNNGo, Blood Dunza has shared the decks with many heavy weights.
RUMSHOT
Rumshot has always been passionately rooted in the music scene. Since his early years when he started out as a percussionist, and brass band player, he has always crossed many genres of music.
Rumshot continues to keep his roots firmly placed in the: Reggae (as founder of Dub Skank’in Hifi sound system, drummer for Reggae Remedy-Singapore reggae band), World Music (founder & drummer for Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra) and Brazilian / Latin(founder and ex-member of Wicked Aura Batucada; scenes, as well as a percussion / drum tutor, musician and sound engineer.
Since starting his djing career he has played in United Kingdom, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia. Rumshot has performed or opened for artists such as Olodum(Brazil), Johnny Osbourne(Jamaica), Tippa Irie(UK), Suns Of Dub(Jamaica), U-Brown(Jamaica), Papa U Gee(Japan), Ras Mohamad(Indonesia), Cojie Mighty Crown(Japan), General Levy(UK), Prince Fatty(UK), Ray Lugo(US), Dusty(Germany), Conkarah(Jamaica) & Dub-Stuy Sound(US).

SUBMERGE
Lavin Raj, better known by his moniker as Submerge, is a DJ, Sound Engineer and vinyl junkie from Singapore. He has been DJing for more then a decade with an obsession for bass driven music, which earned him recognition in the city’s underground scene. He’s graced the decks at a smorgasbord of venues. Starting out mainly playing Drum & Bass, Jungle, then to Dub, He has collaborated and shared the stage with some of the most important names in Singapore, & also played alongside big international acts like Goldie, Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, General Levy, Johnny Osbourne, JStar, Prince Fatty, Logistics, A-Sides, SPY and Spectrasoul to name a few. His love for music had him hosting a weekly radio show with fellow DJ, Presha, on Meshradio for a few years. Renowned regional & global guests were featured on the radio show. Through his musical influences Submerge has also been flirting with Reggae rhythms & dancehall topped by warm layers of Dub

Vijay Singh aka SWTLKR is the usual unusual suspect in the Singapore electronic music/club arena. Over the years he has provided live vocal accompaniment to internationally renowned DJs in various clubs and has performed at numerous large scale festivals voicing the Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Festival , Zoukout 2012 and WOMAD (World of Music and Dance) in Singapore alongside a diverse array of world music artists. As an MC he also produces original music that has seen releases on European labels such as Raw Fusion and K7! Records.
With his five fingers firmly grasping any microphone, he has become the choice to voice key events for Puma, Nike, Heineken, Red Bull and other established global powerhouse brands that seek to add some unexpected spontaneity and vibrance to their events, product launches and exhibitions.
With an all round perspective of the world of music and entertainment, he is bound to bring life to whatever initiative you might embark on.
JERRY JUDGE HINDS(UK)
UK born & Singapore based Jerry Judge Hinds is a true blood practitioner of 70s, 80s Rub-A-Dub and Steppers. Influenced by legendary Channel One, Scientist, King Tubby & Prince Jammy rhythms in a true live dancehall style, Judge will be chatting & MCing inna varied singjay stylee paying homage to Jamaican soundsystem culture
