Local singer-songwriters Ciao Turtle will be launching their debut EP at Aliwal Arts Centre on Saturday 12 March 2016. The duo Ciao Turtle consists of Dennis Ng and Jared Chan, finalists for SG50 The Gift Of Song competition in 2015 with their entry 'Being Here' and 2015 National Arts Council and COMPASS grant recipients.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Ciao Turtle's self-titled EP comprises 5 original songs written by Dennis Ng and Jared Chan, including their singles 'When The Stars' and 'I'm Out' which ranked 24th on the iTunes singles chart within the first day of launch. The homegrown music duo's ambition has always been to explore a variety of genres - from pop to funk - which is reflective in the EP. The launch concert will feature all 5 tracks on the EP and many more unreleased original songs. The details of the event for public:

ABOUT CIAO TURTLE
Recipients of the National Arts Council and COMPASS grants, Ciao Turtle has performed at music festivals such as Music Matters 2015, CQ Summer Live Music Festival 2015 and VoidFest 2015, as well as at music venues such as Esplanade Concourse, Hood Bar, Hard Rock Cafe, Timbre and Wala Wala.
