About Trumpet Z & the Boogie

Trumpet Z has teamed up with The Boogie to bring his California
childhood to the Singapore scene with sets full of 90's and 00's
hip hop and soul while mixing in elements of funk, jazz, and R&B.
The 4-piece live band intimately connects with the audience on
a journey from the roller rink to the dance club, locking in the
funk/soul samples and familiar verses from 90s & 00s rap. Guest
MCs and musicians are welcome to jam at all Trumpet Z gigs –
gracing the audience with their flows and ideas that make
every show an entirely new experience.
