On March 8th, Singapore based soul singer/songwriter Dru Chen dropped his much-anticipated debut album, MIRROR WORK, a magnum opus spanning five years and three continents in the making. In the first week alone, MIRROR WORK featured on over 500 playlists, amassing 15,000 streams in the process.
To celebrate, Dru will be staging an intimate show backed by his 5-piece band on April 12, 2019 at the Aliwal Arts Centre. Billed as SPACES BETWEEN US, Dru wishes to "break down the walls that separate us in the digital age; to create some old-school magic for trying times."
Doors Open 7:30PM, Show Starts 8:00PM. The concert will be filmed and recorded for a forthcoming live album.
To commemorate the occasion, exclusive merchandise will be available at a one-time offer. These include signed copies of the MIRROR WORK VINYL LP, DISTANT MEMORY T-SHIRT, and ONE MAN BAND T-SHIRT designed by Liyana Lucia Norman. Here's your chance to be a part of our journey!
Our talented cast of musicians include Aynsley Green (musical director/keyboards), Andy Chong (guitar), Ben Poh (bass), and Pablo Calzado (Drummer-Percussionist). Special guests joining us onstage include Tim De Cotta, Lisa Haryono, and Nicholas Lee. The concert will feature visuals by Marc Ashley Alexander.
