Debuting new works as well as Ska and reggae classics influenced by the likes of The Skatalites and Fela Kuti.Come experience it for yourself the power reggae music and afrobeat in a pulsating night filled with good vibes and a strong rhythm that will keep u dancing all night!
Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra founded in 2010.Influenced by the music of Afrobeat, Afrosoul, Funk, Reggae & Ska.The band consist of experienced players features a blistering horn section, a percussion section and a tight rhythm section.Over the years the band have played numerous venues across the island such as Blujaz,Artistry,Piedra Negra,Hard Rock Cafe Singapore,The Esplanade,Red Dot Museum and have been featured on various events such as NYE countdown 2011 at The Marina Barrage and the yearly Night Festival.The band have also collaborated with Kokolo Afrobeat Orchestra New York City leading afrobeat band frontman Ray Lugo on a number of tracks.The band is currently working on their latest release slotted for the middle of 2015.
