EATMEPOPTART is proud to present a brand new monthly series LoveLive- a night of sweaty dancefloor boogie, with some of the finest bands, who are willing to befriend us, thrown into the hearty rock n roll salad bowl!
Join us in the Montreux Jazz Cafe lovepit as we launch the series with two of our favourite bands: electropop darlings Disco Hue and dream pop merchants SUBSONIC EYE, while we cap off the night with a party set by the friendly and pleasant-smelling DJs weelikeme & KiDG!

DISCO HUE is a four-piece electro-pop act from Singapore. Influenced by acts like Daft Punk, CHVRCHES and Ella Riot, the band composes tunes off electronic hooks, infectious melodies and groovy bass lines. Disco Hue is a fresh mix of electronic dance music characterised by a live band setting.
Disco Hue's debut EP, Arcade, is out now on all digital stores. Their single, 'Gotta Find You' is a tennis-styled lyric video that received a rambunctious audience response. Accompanying its success is their first music video, 'I'll Be Waiting', quirkily conceptualised by THIEVVES Productions. Disco Hue is currently writing their debut full-length album as a sequel to the Arcade's spirited response!

SUBSONIC EYE is an alternative dream pop band from the hazy and rainy Singapore. Their sound combines the soothing algorithms of a digital synth, catchy guitar and vocal lines. Along with wielding pop melodies with restraint and embraces passages that drone on instead of build, they make the audience feel wistful nostalgia towards the memories they never even had. Best characterised by the quote, ‘Happy music for sad people’, they hope to share their music with as much people as they can.
The band has released a demo EP, three singles, and two exclusive releases on tape, and are in the midst of finishing up their debut full length 11-track album, ‘Strawberry Feels’ due to be released later this year. Subsonic Eye is currently signed to local indie label Middle Class Cigars.
