ElectrOdyssey: Musicology

Electronic Music Lab (EML), a performing collective based at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Centre For the Arts, presents ElectrOdyssey: Musicology, a live electronic music journey spanning Singapore’s pop music history from the 1960s till today. ElectrOdyssey: Musicology is a celebratory showcase of the musical works from the artists in the EML collective. Each live electronic music performance blends samples of local pop music through the decades, everyday voices and sounds, and local media, interpreted through electronic music. In the process, EML explores the rise and fall and rebirth of our burgeoning local pop music scene, by experiencing history through the consciousness of today. These performances will be supported by live VJ-produced visuals from each musical decade. Come and indulge yourselves in a feast of aural and visual treats influenced by the different eras. Witness the past, the present and the future combine momentarily to bring you dear to our nation’s music scene. Be spellbound as the artists from the EML collective work their electronic capabilities to bring the best out of the respective eras for you to experience and feel. Featuring: Ocean’s Children nanowander Mitch Advent Brannlum and many more. Early bird (till 26th August): $12 Normal Sale : $15
