JECK HYDE
Renowned on the French DJ circuit since the early 90s, Jeck Hyde has established himself as force to be reckoned with in the underground music scene. Accrediting his roots to Detroit techno, Chicago House and Acid House from the UK, Jeck Hyde’s unique sound is warm and emotional for the listener, while maintaining hypnotic and deep tones that is always groovy.

Relocating to Singapore a mere four years ago, Jeck Hyde has already held residencies at nightlife hotspots like Kilo and CATO while holding his own at other notable venues in Singapore such as Kyo and Headquarters. No stranger to the decks, Jeck Hyde has become highly sought after around the region and has the pleasure of spinning at Koh in Bali, Sweatbox/Elysium in Kuala Lumpur and will be performing at Glow, Whiteline and Mustache in an upcoming Bangkok tour.

Having performed alongside many of the best DJs in electro music such as Laurent Garnier, Vitalic, Jennifer Cardini, Housemeister, Electric Rescue, Chez Damie, Blond:ish, Rampa, Uner and many more, Jeck Hyde’s unique blend of music has been encapsulated in his own series of parties – Rehyderate. Almost two years old, Rehyderate promotes the underground music scene with a fervor and has developed a strong following amongst Singapore’s audiophiles.

JEEVAN LEROY
Jeevan Leroy remembers his first encounter with electronic dance music. It was at ZOUK many years ago listening to the resident DJ playing in the main room on a massive GSA analog soundsystem. It was a mind blowing experience for him, and that was when House Music hit him.

Ever since then his interest with electronic music grew to a much deeper level and he started exploring different sub genres, discovering newer sounds along the way. Inspired by the beats of minimal, techno and dark room sounds, his taste for music was constantly evolving, yet he managed to always retain his signature style of playing.

After a few years he bought his first pair of cdjs and a mixer and started experimenting on how to mix. Putting two records together seamlessly mixing in tracks one after the other, however only in the confines of his own bedroom. As his practices paid off he was soon playing small private parties for his friends and was getting known as the underground bedroom DJ.

Four years later Jeevan was ready to take things a couple of notches higher. His friends booked him a gig to play at the cool Figure it Out party at Zsofi bar on Sundays. From then on he has played a few cool venues in Singapore. Million and Empire to name a few including Cato where he’s been the opening act for International DJs, playing for events like LIT, Tech Quiero and Sensory.

Well let’s just say this ‘bedroom DJ’ and new kid on the block has a few good tricks up his sleeves to keep you coming back for more.
