Esplanade Presents: Cipta Cita - Iskandar Rawi

Iskandar Rawi is a Malay alternative rock musician and former frontman of Singapore punk rock band, black-ductape. His credentials include engineering live sound for international and local musicians. Last year, Iskandar collaborated with rapper Flique Mohamad on the song Tenang, written to motivate troubled youth. His foray into rap helped him tap into a new group of followers. He also collaborated with rapper Atrez and lyricist Hidayat Nordin to release the song Setiap Detik Ini, and released his emo rock number, Bergelora Tanpa Arah. Iskandar is currently in pre-production for his upcoming EP, scheduled for an early 2019 release.
