Esplanade Presents: Red Dot August - Hasyir Ibrahim

Inspired by the likes of guitar greats such as Albert King, Gary Clark Jr, Eric Johnson and Matt Schofield, Hasyir Ibrahim picked up the guitar at the age of 12. Armed with the calming, dulcet tone of his vocals and a charismatic nature, he can often be seen on the stage as a sought-after session guitarist. Hasyir is able to hold his own as a singer-songwriter, penning soulful tunes that distinguish themselves with the vibrancy of his rhythmic guitar licks and ambient soundscapes over gut-wrenching melodies.
