Playing a mash-up of songs from all their four previous four studio releases, as well as new songs from their upcoming EP scheduled for release in September, Iman's League will take you back to where they first started 10 years ago.
What started as a solo effort almost a decade ago has evolved into one of the most prolific bands this tiny island has produced. With influences from punk-rock outfits Blink-182, NOFX and No Use for a Name, to Japanese anime punk-rock heroes such as TOTAL FAT and dustbox, the band has created its own distinctive melodic and catchy sound. In 2015, Iman’s League was honoured as the Best Band and Best Song at the annual Anugerah Planet Muzik Awards, which recognises the best Malay music artists in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Iman’s League’s fourth album, The Only Way Is UP was released on 12 Aug 2017 to popular as well as critical acclaim. Iman’s League continues to push their limits and boundaries to bring their music further than ever. They’ve shared the stage with international acts such as Sick of It All (USA), Neck Deep (UK), and Secrets (USA), and have travelled and played at various shows and festivals in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Australia and, most recently, Taiwan. They are currently working on their fifth studio release and are planning for a Southeast Asia tour this year to promote the new album.
