firstAIDS
firstAIDS is a benefit concert organized by a group of 16 year olds from SJI International. The aim of the event is to raise both money and awareness for patients living with HIV/AIDS in Singapore. All proceeds go directly to the Tan Tock Seng Patient Care Centre, a centre which works to help patients psychologically, medically and financially. Our slogan is "aid a change today", as this event is a call for people to take part in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Every little contribution helps, be that by buying a ticket and attending, supporting our social media, donating, buying merchandise, or simply talking about it. It's a way to reduce the stigma and make a change, all while listening to amazing performances by youths and munching on delicious snacks! The performers are Jana Ann, Here, November Rains, Foo Fang Rong, Joie Tan and Bakers in Space, all performing acoustic covers and originals! The event will take place on the 16th of May, 2pm and 5pm, at CANVAS in Clarke Quay. A ticket cost only $10 for students and $12 for non-students, and will be both sold at the door and available by contacting us at firstaidssg@gmail.com. So come on down for our second event for good music, good food and good deeds, and lets aid a change today!
